Pricing

  • Documents vary in price, you can scan the document to us and we will provide a free quote. Our team will get back to you within hours if not minutes.

  • Fees for translation are calculated, based on a number of factors including complexity, length , nature of the text and required time.

  • There are no hidden charges; we honor the quote we provided as long as the source documents remain the same. Please keep in mind that our quotes don’t include taxes or shipping charges.

Passports and Stamps

  • To save you time, kindly be aware that you are responsible for providing the accurate and complete coloured photocopies of your passports [even empty pages must be photocopied) (as per CIC instructions).

  • We always convert Hijri/ lunar/ Saudi dates into Gregorian calendar and sometimes there’s a difference of a day or two and we do indicate this on our translation to be on the safe side when you calculate the number of days you’ve spent in Canada.

Frequently asked questions:

Do I really need a certified Translator?

Yes, You need an ATIO certified translator in Ontario. He/she is the expert in the language pair they are certified in. The certified translator has gone through a strenuous certification process and training before becoming certified.

Why do I need to translate my documents again? I already translated them back-home.

Many government agencies will ask you for a Canadian certified translation of any documents issued in languages other than English and French.

Why should I deal with the certified translator directly when I can just deal with a translation agency?

It is always better to have direct contact with the person who is doing your translation. You see, translation agencies would have to contact the translator on your behalf and in many cases; they don’t speak your language and take long to get back to you which adds to the turnaround time. Most importantly, agencies will charge you double or triple our rate.

How do I know I’m getting affordable prices with Daban Translations?

It is better to shop around for certified translators and get a competitive price. We have been known to offer the best bang for your buck. All prices are fair.

What methods of payment are available at the office?

How can I pay if I scan my document and you mail to me?

I found a typo in my translation. What do I do?

Mistakes do happen and we are only human. Of course, we always advise that you review your documents carefully before leaving the office so if there are any mistakes, they can be corrected right away. Contact us and we’ll take care of it, no appointment necessary.

How does it work?

  2. We provide you with a free quote

  3. You approve the quote, make a down payment.

  4. We complete a first draft of the translation and send it to you for feedback

  5. You provide a feedback on the draft.

  6. We implement the changes [if possible] and deliver the final translation

  7. You can pay upon pickup using debit or credit.

  8. We can mail you the document if you cannot come in to collect it in person (shipping not included in fee)
